Things I want to do in 2017

Oh boy here it goes again. New Year’s resolutions. Every single year I make that list and try to check out as many things as possible. Let’s how am I going to fare in 2017.

The list

In no particular order. I guess I’ll assign some priorities when I’m done with thinking up things.

  • Apply for Vulcanus in Japan - didn’t make it, will try again next year
  • Go to Japan - scrapped for next year as I didn’t manage my funds carefully enough

  • Write something not trivial in Haskell (tinkering with Hakyll doesn’t count)
  • Try my hand at writing reviews
  • Go to calligraphy course
  • Invest more - I managed not to lose money this year!
  • Finish SICP (I’m absolutely not making this resolution like the 4th time)
  • Learn Rust
  • Learn Elixir
